Application forms may be obtained from the Newark Memorial High School career counseling center or your counselor. Your application should include the following things:

(1)  A completed Application Form with the following information:

Your Name

Email Address

Phone Number

Intended area of study

The name of the college, university, or vocational school that you will be attending

(2)  Two written essays.

(3)  A recommendation letter from a teacher in your intended field of study. You may include a second letter of recommendation from another teacher, a coach, an employer, or another supervisor. Providing a second recommendation letter is optional.

(4)  A copy of a current high school transcript.

(5)  A copy of a letter of acceptance from a four-year college or university, a two-year college, or a vocational school (this can be submitted at a later date if not available by the April deadline).

Submit these items to the Newark Memorial High School by Friday, April 10, 2026.

Unfortunately, late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
